Lara + Rob's Real Wedding Story in Bozeman

Saying “I Do” with 100 of their nearest and dearest

Though Lara and Robb worked at the same company, it took the power of a work happy hour to truly bring them together. “We started chatting and realized that we both loved horror movies and good food, and the rest was history,” Lara said. In deciding where to tie the knot, Bozeman was a natural choice for a few reasons. First, there was the family connection—Lara’s parents live in town. But it was the ease of Bozeman that really impressed the couple. “The thing we really loved about Bozeman was that it’s a small town, so everyone was staying near each other, and all of the guests kept running into each other downtown. Most people didn’t even need a rental car as well, because everything was walking distance!” she said.

And what brought Lara and Robb to Kimpton Armory Hotel Bozeman, in particular? The hotel’s convenient location in the heart of downtown Bozeman, which “made everything walkable” and the beautiful Art Deco building.

Memorable Details

Lara and Rob opted for Kimpton Armory Hotel’s Presidential Suite for their wedding weekend. Rather than staying apart the night before the wedding, they chose to take advantage of their luxe accommodations together. “I couldn’t let him miss out on that amazing suite,” Lara said. In the morning, the couple walked to have a relaxing breakfast with their friends in Downtown Bozeman.

“I will most remember the amazing Presidential Suite we stayed in, and all of the lovely people that worked there who made it so special.”

It was a lovely experience over all! The Kimpton (and Dana) was so well organized, the venue was beautiful and classic, and the food was delicious.

In the afternoon, Lara returned to the Presidential Suite with her bridesmaids to get ready and take photos on the suite’s balcony. As the ceremony in Armory Music Hall drew near, Lara’s nerves were calmed by her Armory Hotel event coordination team member, Dana.

Gorgeous details found their way from the ceremony to the reception. A beautiful wooden arch, laden with white flowers was both the backdrop to Lara and Robbs vows as well as their couples’ head table at the reception. Additionally the flowers from the reception tables were lined up on the stage behind the couple during the ceremony.
